About Mrs. Girard   

   I am currently a special education teacher at Brookings High School, where I teach and case manage students in grades 9-12.

   I received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Sioux Falls College (now known as the University of Sioux Falls), followed by a master's degree in special education from Augustana College.

   I have been the assistant seventh grade girl's volleyball coach for a number of years. Go Cats!

   My hobbies include reading, geocaching, four-wheeling, ice fishing and camping. I also spend time walking and playing with Pepper - my British Lab.
