Course Descriptions   

PS Chem/Phys - This course is taught by a physical science teacher. The teacher provides direct instruction that aligns with the South Dakota standards. The special education teacher provides accommodations that reinforce the South Dakota standards.

Science R - This is a general science class designed to provide direct instruction in the areas of earth and physical science. The content of the course aligns with the South Dakota standards taught in earth/space science courses and physical science courses.

Basic Math Skills R - Direct instruction in basic math skills is taught individually to each student in class. 

Applied Foods R - This is a special education class designed to provide direct instruction in the areas of cooking, safety in the kitchen, and nutrition. The content of the course aligns with the South Dakota standards taught in foods/nutrition courses.

Independent Living R - Direct instruction in independent life skills like using the phone, accessing resources in the community, employment, hygiene, budgeting, cleaning, etc. is provided in a small group setting.
